The team at Business Evaluation Centre was happy to have Dr Jack Phillips, Founder of the ROI Institute, in Singapore for a whirlwind trip this week delivering an in-house Certification Course for a Singapore Government Agency and speaking at a breakfast briefing jointly hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce Singapore.
Dr Phillips, who is a world-renowned expert on accountability, measurement and evaluation, explained to the audience how business impact and Return On Investment (ROI) may be credibly measured for internal projects, programmes and initiatives such as those run by Human Resources, Learning and Development, Information Technology, Quality, Logistics and the like – departments that provide essential services to an organisation yet are often unable to derive and explain their benefits quantitatively in terms of business impact and dollars and cents.
The team also met professionals at the talk with new-found interest in ROI Methodology, setting a positive tone for the Business Evaluation Centre in second quarter of 2017.
